A fun day, more redfish out there than keeper trout. Weather hot and calm, Mike is a tournament bass fisherman who likes casting lures, and caught a dozen or so trout on worm-tail jigs. He and Samantha caught their first redfish, trout and sharks.

Catching the biggest redfish of my 70 year fishing career was a high point of our outing, complimented by some very nice trout and a mackerel. Tossing gold spoons out in the open Gulf and zigzagging top water plugs in the tidal creeks provided a diverse adventure. The land and seascape of tree covered islands, marsh, creeks and open sea was unforgettable.
Joe, your intimate knowledge of Floridaโs Gulf waters was the key to the success of our outing.
