From beginning to end, it was a great experience for our family of 15… eight adults and seven kids age four to nine.  In preparation, Captain Joe was very concerned to see that we came with a dose of dramamine!  Wise man…it was a choppy day and we survived with only 2 sightly upset stomachs! 

On our hour ride out, we were fortunate to have dolphins riding the waves with us.  Upon anchoring, we were immediately handed our baited poles and the fishing began.  The captain and his mates, Brandon and Craig, saw to it that our poles were always baited, hardware replaced when needed and fish taken off the lines.  They gave such great attention to helping the kids (and adults) catch fish!  We moved several times during our adventure to find schools of fish! 

It was an overcast day so we didn’t have a beautiful sunset to see on the way back to dock, but we did have dolphins swimming with us again.  I can still hear the screams of delight from the grandkids each time a dolphin surfaced!  Extra kudos to First mate Craig, who interacted with the kids so very well!

We will definitely book with Captain Joe again if we are in the area!!!

Everything was amazing! The captain even took us early because our day looked like it was going to be a wash. Brandon was AMAZING!!! We had a full boat and he got to everyone as needed quickly. As soon as the fish stopped biting the captain moved us. The crew was knowledgable, friendly and you can just tell they love what they do. Our entire family enjoyed it from start to finish. Even my 7 year old daughter who decided a nap was better than fishing. Highly recommend captain Joe and Brandon. Money and time well spent. We even got to see some dolphins.

The fishing trip with captain Joe and his crew as great.  Weather was a little on the rough side.  But Captain Joe was determined to get us out some fish.  We ended up catching a great meals worth of gray snapper.  Joe was great and were he did not have another trip for the day he kept us out for a extra hour and a half.  We had a great time talking with him and his crew.  They are very sharp and professional at what they do.  His crew took great care in making sure we always had a pole in the water and wasted no time..  I would highly recommend them for a fishing trip.

My boys and I had a great time. Captain and crew were knowledgable, friendly and funny. I had reached out to the captain the week before our trip because the day we were set to go, it was going to be storming. The captain was completely understanding and accommodating. The fish weren’t really biting but the captain wouldn’t give up and he took us to three different spots which turned out great! One of my sons did end up getting sea sick and Brandon was so helpful in trying to help him feel better. Would highly highly recommend this charter. Well worth the money!

This was a great trip and definitely worth the price. We traveled out into the water for a while, then got to fish. I immediately caught a few fish, then we went dry. Captain Joe moved to another location and we caught some more. As the fishing spots dried up, he moved us to a better location each time.

Brandon filleted the fish for us and we went to our room and cooked them up. They were delicious!

If you want a great fishing experience, I would recommend spending the day with Captain Joe and Brandon. We had a great day!
