Came down a week after hurricane Idalia passed by. Day started slow. Caught a couple barracuda in the first hour or so then got real slow. Captain Jimmy continued to search for debris floating to try and get put us on some fish. Last hour of the trip he found some did a few passes and ended up catching about 8 keepers. Bonnie did great with keeping lines in the water and was quick with getting bait back out there. Will definitely book again.
The other captains said conditions were not great and they werenโt catching , but we were on the fish all day . Out in the four hundred water and also on the reef. We caught more than two dozen fish and ate them for days
Excellent day with Captain Jimmy and Bonnie taking care of the lines. Great day with not the best fishing weather conditions and we pulled in 3- 30lb+ Wahoo and 1 Barracuda. Experience is everything. Boat was roomy and comfortable. Had local restaurant cook up some of our catch. A added bonus. Canโt wait to come back next year.
Highly recommended charter. We did a 6hr trip and caught a variety of different fish. Would definitely go again next time we are in key west.
