Great day. Captain worked hard to make sure we caught fish

We did the 4 hour trip from 8am to 12pm with a group of 6 on board with Captain Jeremy. The vessel was the perfect size for our group and it was a comfortable ride out and back. Captain Jeremy was awesome the whole trip and shared some wicked good knowledge about fishing and life in general. He took us to two spots and at one point everyone was non-stop reeling fish in. We couldn’t replace the bait on our hooks fast enough to keep up. We mostly caught Calico and Sculpin. Two members of our group ended up spending the entire trip feeding the fish with their barf, but all in all we all had loads of fun. We are looking forward to the next outing.

First time on a lobster hooping trip and the reviews looked so good we all decided to give it a shot. It was a hard night and the lobsters weren’t crawling, (nobody around us was getting anything) but Captain Jeremy did everything he possibly could, and was such a great guy to talk to! Very entertaining and has an extremely decorative past (won’t spoil it but he’s worked with some high profile celebrities).

And as we were just having fun and relaxing we started catching the lobsters! These reviews don’t lie, this company is so good at giving you a wonderful experience. They understand it’s not just about catching the fish, but the overall experience. Might be going on another lobster trip shortly, and definitely will be trying some fishing at some point. If you’ve been in a huge charter boat, this is nothing like that. Much more personalized and quite honestly you move so much faster that you end up with more time in the water fishing

Weather was fine at the begining once we got out to the open sea. Stopped the boat off an underwater cliff and as soon as the line reached the bottom, 2 of our party members began to hook rockfish. Wind picked up and the boat began to drift away, but Cpt. Jeremy was determined to land us some fish. Hooked 2 decent sized mackerel while looking for signs of baitfish, but the weather got even worse. Best highlight was the large pod of dolphins that swam around the boat.  Overall, despite the circumstances our captain tried to make the best out of an awful day.

We had a bit of a mix up as I got the wrong address (my fault) so we were a bit late but captain Kevin was totally understanding and very accommodating and let us stay out a little later. We had such a blast, caught some fish, learned a few things and couldn’t be happier. We had such a great experience, we plan on making this a regular activity for our family.
