Jimmy is the hardest working guide we have every experienced.  When we switched to bait fishing, Jimmy has an amazing skill of keeping every hook baited, skillfully cast into the water, every caught fish netted, and still able to tell a good story.  The man obviously loves what he does and makes sure that everyone on his boat is safe and catches as much fish as possible.  Based on other guides we have used, Jimmy’s guide service provides much more value and personality than any other we have used but most of all, the man never stops working. From the greeting at the dock to cleaning of the fish, Jimmy never stopped doing something.  Anyone on the fence about paying for a guide service versus trying it on their own should seriously consider using a professional like Jimmy who provides the technique, bait, and knows the specific locations.  Over the years we have learned that a good guide service, without an attitude, produces a much better experience.  BTW: thank you Jimmy for adapting to each guest’s skill level.

Capt. James is very friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. My son, my grandson, a friend of my grandson and myself wanted for nothing the entire trip. Capt. James put us on the fish at four different locations. He baits the line, nets the fish, tells you what kind of fish it is, puts it in the cooler if it is big enough and cleans the fish at the end of the trip. Between the four of us we caught at least 60 to 65 fish and kept 37 catfish. We went home with two one gallon bags of filets. We will definitely be making many more trips with this excellent fishing guide.
