We went out at 6 am. Captain helped the boys fish. We had a great 4 hours of fishing. We caught lots of fish. And got to see lots of dolphins as a bonus. Captain cleaned and fillet our catch so we could take it to Tacky Jacks. They prepared our catch for lunch. Great trip, lots of Memories made!
It was amazing!!! Captain Rick was so patient with us and the kids. We had a blast an will differently be coming back! After our trip was over heading back he stopped and let the kids watch the dolphins swim. Every fish we caught if it was different he would explain it to us and the kids!!
We left the marina at 7am on a nice 80 degree calm morning. My girls had never been saltwater fishing. Captain Rick began the morning by tossing out the net to catch some bait. The girls enjoyed seeing the small haul of shrimp, small croaker, and a baby flounder that we threw back. We then went on to try our luck for some speckled trout. Captain Rick noticed pretty quickly that the trout weren’t biting. The rain minnows were active and there were a couple of dozen porpoises swimming in the distance. Captain Rick said that there must be some Mackerel around. One minute later and we started to see the schooling fish jumping. We put out some trolling lines and spent the rest of the morning pulling in nice size Spanish Mackerels. Captain Rick answered all of my kids questions and showed them how to properly handle a fishing rod. We even caught four fish on 3 lines at at one time! We then headed back to the marina to have our fish cooked at Tacky Jacks 2. Captain Rick meticulously filleted our fish so they could cook them in the restaurant. We had a feast of fried, blackened, and lemon grilled fish. Not one bone! Cheers Captain Rick! I highly recommended this trip for families and saltwater novices. We had a blast!

Captain Rick was outstanding and he was very patient with my son who hasn’t fished much. He put us on a ton of Spanish mackerel!
I went on a 4 hour inshore charter with my husband and mom. We had a great time fishing in the Mobile Bay. We caught speckled trout and white trout and had some nice filets to take home with us. Captain Rick was very nice and accommodating to our needs during the trip.
