We had a blast on our fishing trip, it was probably our favorite part of our visit to San Juan. Captain Luis was friendly, very knowledgeable, and he really worked hard to try to get us some fish.  We also got to cruise by the fort and watch a beautiful sunset over the bay.  Highly recommend!

If you have been doing your research and looking for a charter that you will catch fish, have a great time AND be safe while your doing it? Look no further!!!
Captain Frankie was amazing! Everyone on our trip caught a fish and we even got a Grand Slam! Frankie’s grand slam is when you catch 3 different species on your charter trip. We caught a Tarpon, Barracuda, and a Mackerel! Barracuda isn’t pictured above because we had to release him quickly as another person on the boat was reeling in a fish!! Frankie was not only very conscious of our safety, but the conservation of the fish was very important! We learned how to properly handle and release the Tarpan we caught as they are a protected species. We could have kept the mackerel, but we decided to catch and release.
We got lucky and there was no wind on the day of our charter. Because of this, half way through the trip Frankie drove the boat around the forts in Old San Juan and he brought us to a safe beach area where we got to jump in to cool off! He was also giving us the history as we drove around the island.
We could not have been more happy with our trip and with Frankie!! We will definitely be using them again on our next trip to PR.

I have been fishing with many charters from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Original had booked a trip to Marlin Alley with an Offshore Charter, but realized with my boys a Tarpon Trip was a better fit. I looked at every charter thoroughly, and choose this one because of its ratings and seemed to offer an additional hour. Captain Carlos was truly leaps and bounds over any captain I have ever been with. From his knowledge, the way he interacted with the boys, and the little things that can make all the difference between a good day to a great day. We landed two tarpon within the first hour, in the five hour trip we have been hooked on 3 10-15lbs, 2 35-40 lbs, 1 - +80lb, and a 1- +100lb. We seriously had seen at least +30 tarpon break the water, where he had taken us. Again can’t say enough positive about Captain Carlos, and the experience he offered my boys and myself. Even for me this trip was a blast, fighting both a +80lb & 100lb tarpon on light tackle, and watching my boys battle with with the +30lb & even the +80lb for a few minutes. Just to give you a little Insight to what kind a caption he is. As we moved locations and came up on another charter boat that was having a rough go, he offered up his location that was hitting to help them out. Again an awesome experience and will be looking for you on our return trip.

We had the best time with Captain Frankie. Frankie is extremely knowledgeable, incredibly fun and quite honestly a hilarious guy who we thoroughly enjoyed being around.  He’s a guy who can hang with just about anyone and was so easy to become friends with.  He genuinely cares about his customers having a great experience.  Additionally, the fishing itself is very fun and easy.  None of us had much fishing experience and Frankie did a great job explaining everything to us and we got a lot out of it. The vibes we’re incredible and highly recommend!  If you’re looking for a great day in San Juan, have a fishing day with Frankie.

He has a few hilarious catch phrases too.  “The bait will do all the work”. “we just need to make sure we have good vibes”
