Captain Ryan was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful for our novice crew. Even though we weren’t able to catch the big one😊We were able to catch many different kinds of fish. Captain Ryan explained all the different species and characteristics about them. We had a teenage girl who’d never fished before and now she can’t wait to do it again. I highly recommend Captain Ryan and will come back the next time we’re in MB..  😄

Our family of 4 had a great day out with Captain Ryan! We caught lots of mackerel and few other types of fish. Captain Ryan worked hard to keep us fishing and was very knowledgeable. He also shared insights about the beautiful area and made us feel welcome. We will for sure book Captain Ryan again the next time we are in the area. I also want to mention that he was very prompt and responsive! 100 percent would recommend Captain Ryan to anyone!

My two boys and I (17 & 14) didn’t know what to expect with this being our first fishing charter.  Captain Ryan made sure we had a great time while we kept him busy baiting hooks and untangling our lines lol!  He taught us the right techniques for what we were fishing for at every spot.  We caught a variety of things.  Blue crab, hammer head shark, toadfish, flounder and a stingray.  I’m sure if the ocean was calmer we could of caught a lot more but it was understandable.  Rough waters makes for rough fishing.  Overall I would highly recommend Captain Ryan.  He’s a good dude and he’s also going for his Masters in Biology!  Really smart guy and he knows his way around a boat and can keep your pole going in the water.  We had a great time and if we came back to Mrytle Beach we will go again with him.  Good luck Ryan in getting your Masters and we wish you the best of luck dude!

Took my teenage son and his friend fishing. Captain Ryan showed us a great time. Hit the artificial reef fast and got lines in the water. Pulled up fish the entire day. Not all keepers but had a blast. Finished up at the jetty and did some inland fishing as well. Caught sharks, cobia, bluefish, menhaden, black bass, croaker, toadfish ,lizardfish and various other fish. We had a blast and he kept changing the baits to keep up with what the fish were hitting. I have charter fished all over the globe and by far the best Captain I’ve had to date. Will definitely book again when in town.

My 12 year old son and I are grateful to have had an amazing morning trip with Captain Ryan.  It was our first time fishing in big water.  He took us to perfect spots, he was super informative, patient and friendly.  Couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks again Captain Ryan!
