My 9yo son and I had the best time fishing with Captain Orlando! His passion for fishing is infectious. The highlight of the trip was catching a 60 lb sailfish. Captain Orlando guided my son through the whole process, it was an experience we will treasure forever. The sharks stole the rest of our catches but we had a ball fighting the fish and the sharks! We caught some smaller fish at the end of the trip to round the day out.ย I would highly recommend this charter to any fishing enthusiasts of all ages. You will not regret it! Truly worth every penny.

This was the first charter Iโve contemplated a refund. This was the most uneventful fishing experience in my life and to be clear, my friends and I charter trips quite frequently, locally and internationally. So, to go out with no bites, it felt like a wasted day. Itโs customary for the Captain to inform their guest if someone else will be taking them out. The cost should include experience of the Captain if it is being advertised as such. Also, every charter has at a minimum, water for guest. Nothing was provided. Even the most least impressive boats weโve been on in developing countries, they have water and snacks.

Thank you for the feedback. We agree that the fishing was uneventful on this trip. We can control many things but not the bite. Capt. Art is skilled, personable, and most customers love fishing with him (based on their reviews).
Upon booking, I sent the trip information where I specified that both I and Capt. Art run our trips. I also stated that everything was included except food, drinks, and gratuity (15-20% which was also overlooked).

An absolutely amazing time with Captain Art on Friday afternoon in February. With little to no fishing experience, went out about 5 miles offshore and caught several Blackfin tuna, with the biggest 25-30 pounds. Captain Art helped us clean up the tuna to take home to eat after! Definitely recommend this trip for small groups, regardless of level of fishing experience.
