We arrived 15 minutes early to ensure that we didnโt hold up the departure for our 6 hour fishing trip. After a lot of delays, we finally departed almost 50 minutes late. As we were preparing to board, the captain explained that the boat we reserved had some mechanical issues, and we were being put on another boat. One of the reasons I chose this charter was that the cabin was air conditioned. We soon found out that the boat we had did not have any air conditioning or even ventilation. This was an issue as the seas were quite rough, and sitting in a cabin without any real ventilation only exacerbated anyone getting seasick. As a result, most of our group got seasick, and a number of them couldnโt climb up to the flying bridge due to physical limitations. To be fair, the crew worked hard to get us on fish. We successfully caught 2 amberjacks and a small king mackerel. So, the trip wasnโt a total loss.

Dear James how are you? First of all thank you so much for giving us the opportunity of taking you fishing, it was a complete pleasure having the honor of being part of your Cancรบn trip! We feel very sorry for not giving you the experience you were looking for and for having you at the palapa waiting for us to have the boat ready, unfortunately we had an electric problem before we went out and one of the batteries didnโt work so couldnโt turn on one engine so we though it was something simple to fix and it was thank God however we had to change you from boat to a boat just like the one you reserved, literally almost the same! Same size, same shape and sorry about the AC but in both listings I do not offer them with AC. You can double check in your reservation James :)
