Trolled all day with no bites, no one on board even touched a reel.ย Rough seas caused a lot of sickness. Just a bad experience.
Captain Humberto and 1st Mate, Jaimie, were very nice.ย We did not have the best weather and trolled for six hours without catching anything.ย We had a one minute fight with a blue marlin, but the line quickly broke.ย I donโt know if they have a fish finder, but the crew did nothing different to help us locate and catch fish.ย Also, the cabin is not air conditioned, as described in the advertisement, or it was not working today, and so there was no escaping the heat.ย I got seasick when I went below deck due to lack of airflow.ย We took our kids, 13 and 11, who are experienced fishers but this trip was not for kids under 15.ย Good price for a six hour trip if you have good weather, but I think we just had bad luck today.

Hello, thank you for your review. Yesterday was one of the best weather that we had. Here waters here are shoppy must of the time, this is the caribbean and we have no control of it. Marlin fishing is not for every one but if you really want to try just be prepare for long trolling hours. Yes the air conditioner is not in service waiting for parts for the repair. Yes the boat have a new fish finder, 2 GPS, 3 VHF, auto pilot and stereo. We did locate the fish having three blue Marlin hits I think that was very good. Well let know if you want to try again. Perfect trip! We had a great time with Captain Humberto. We will definitely be coming back!
Had to cut the trip short because I got seasick, but Captain Number to and Tony were very helpful and professional. After I caught a blue marlin I asked to come back in as I was to puny to continue. The seas were rough for me.
Very poor experience.ย Seas were very rough yet captain was taking out regardless.ย We asked about conditions before trip and he called them โnormalโ for San Juan.ย 4-6โ waves 20 knot winds.ย Surprised he was willing to take a family with 2 kids out in that weather. We fished for 1.5 hours and then we all got sick. Been deep sea fishing before but nothing likes this. Red flag day with small craft advisory.ย After 1.5 hours we asked him to turn back. Returned to dock an hour early.ย He charged us full rate.ย I would not recommend Humberto unless you review weather conditions yourself and can decide if itโs what you to spend your time and money doing. Spoke with other captain next day and he was surprised we went out the day before.
