Took my wife and 9 year old daughter. They fly fish with me in CO, but never salt water. Excellent experience for them, and great day, catching limits of snapper.

We did a full day offshore with Captain Ricky. The sailfish bite was the best thing going in the area. We went 1 for 1 on Sailfish (1 hook up and 1 landed). We also caught several Bonita that unfortunately reduced our live bait considerably, which was intended for the Sailfish. We trolled an offshore weed line with not much avail for Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi. Captain Ricky and Captain Conrad (the mate) are both Conchs and did an excellent job handling lines and the boat given the limited opportunities at fish we had. The boat is older, but a comfortable fishing platform. The interior has a working head (bathroom) and large inside couch that you can enjoy watching the lines thru large panoramic while enjoying the ice-cold AC blasting you. All in all a great affordable charter. It is worth catching an Uber or driving 10 minutes to Stock Island to save a few hundred dollars.
