We were met at the dock by boat and crew—they were ready to go and started out right on time. We decided to go way out for tuna (yellowfin). Tuna showed briefly but we did not connect. Decided to try for other fish and ended up catching 6 Jack Crevalle and 1 Bonita. JC’s are a blast to catch—very hard fighting fish. Recommend you get a “patch” or take sea sick medicine. Might be more rough than you expect way out from shore. Great trip for sure! Crew was awesome.

The crew worked very hard find the fish…. Great job! The fresh ceviche and guacamole were great. We would book this again!!!
Weather was perfect. Caught & released two sail fish and the fresh Mahi-mahi ceviche was delicious.
If youโre coming from Vidanta the shuttle to get you to the cab stand didnโt start running until 7a, so we were late to the dock (7:30a). Paradise Village Marina is a 15 min walk on the beach from Vidanta but the AM pickup location is on the north side of the marina inlet, which would be difficult or impossible to walk to from the south. We were dropped off on the south side of the marina at the end of our trip. The dock access on the south side drop off location is gated, however our crew had the key or combination to get us through the gates. So if youโre coming from Vidanta, cab it in the morning, walk home on the beach in the afternoon. I specifically booked the 8hr Deep Sea so we could target marlin and sailfish. We started jigging in 80 ft water on the north side of the bay. We caught five, 15-20 lb., Pompano within the first two hours. Since we had fish in the boat, we headed farther west, off the west coast of Punta de Mita and trolled for the big fish. No luck trolling…but thats fishing. We could have caught a boatload jigging but I wanted to go big. Jorge made great ceviche on the boat. Victor was an excellent captain. It was good trip, I have no complaints. I will book again when I return.

This is my second trip with my boys and this crew. After my son caught a 7 foot marlin last year we decided to make it an annual excursion when we are vacationing here for spring break. The boat is very comfortable, and this year my nephews also came so there were 5 of us. Cold beverages are provided, but I would recommend bringing some snacks. The crew works very hard to find and catch fish. Itโs very impressive. On our way back to the marina, Jorge made us the most delicious ceviche with one of our catches. It was amazing! I highly recommend this fishing trip.
