We had an excellent trip with Chris! Couldn’t have asked for a better captain. He was attentive at all times and was great fishing with the kids. Experience is a plus and this guy knows his stuff. We’ll definitely go out with SweetLips again

Chris was fun,  professional and knew his stuff.  He got us on the fish right away and we were able to have a nice variety of big and small catches. We were new at charter fishing but he made it easy for us.  We had six in our party but didn’t feel crowded on the boat. Everyone had a great day and made a lifelong memory.  If you’re looking for a good captain, Chris is your man.

Great trip!  Booked for Farhers’s Day, kids had a great time, started closet into Mayport with older 2 landing 3 Benito, 1 Barracuda, got off to a quick start.  Then moved further out to fish for bait, which was great for the youngest who enjoyed catching the bait fish.  Went a little further to try for something bigger, no luck at 1st stop but Mike quickly recognized it wasn’t too promising and moved us further out where we brought in 2 Amberjack and another Barracuda.  Was a great day, and Mike was great with the kids.  Highly recommend.

Forecast was 20+ knots and 6’-8’ seas offshore.  Captain suggested inshore trip.  We fished in the river, and caught several species of fish.  Trout, Sheepshead, Black Bass, and others.  Captain was prepared with live shrimp, frozen shrimp, live crabs, and frozen cut bait.  Everyone on the trip caught fish and had fun.

I booked this charter at the last minute and there was availability. Captain Chris told me that they try to make it out, but if not, they would do inshore fishing and bay fishing. My son and his four friends I had a great time fishing with captain Chris they said he was very knowledgeable and got them on the fish. Thank you captain Chris, for making my son’s birthday one to remember and we will most definitely be back.
