I have everything good to say about the captain of Nothin matters.. He had an unfortunate breakdown of his boat and was unable to take us out.. He did scramble and find us another captain to take us out. Which I very much appreciate his efforts on doing so.. However the crew on the other ship I would not pay to go fishing with again.. we wanted to catch mahi and all we heard was no those fish are to far out and not around..  they seemed like they were only interested in just cruising a couple miles offshore and go for fish I told them we weren’t interested in catching.. And to top it off they kept our catch to use as the next days shark fishing trip.  I’d never use the other captain again. Waist of money and bad service with a side of attitude..

We were unsure if we were going to be able to set out beyond the reef. Only three boats attempted to go out and one of them had turned around. Our Capitan had to take his time to navigate the waves and we made it beyond the reefs. He did his best to put us on fish so that we had something and kept us informed of the weather as we moved further out too sea. We had a great time, weather permitted . The ship mate was always ready with bait and reels ready and to assist with detaingle of our lines. I highly recommend this captain and mate for your fishing experience. Good bless.

Captain Tyler and his first mate, Jesse were unreal! The attention to detail, never letting a hook go without bait and always there for the catch! I will not go on another fishing trip in Destin with anyone else! They put us on the fish immediately and every time. Jesse even brought a monster In by hand after a reel broke! These guys made the trip a blast from the start and never let us down! I HIGHLY recommend fishing with Nothin Matters! Thanks, Tyler and Jesse!

We had a great time out!  Heavy swells and wind made for an interesting ride out but didn’t stop captain tyler from getting us on some fish.  My wife caught the biggest one of the day.  Jesse was amazingly fast at getting bait on hooks so we had lines in as much as possible when we were over fish.  This is a nice, big boat and they keep it squared away.  Next time down we’ll be going out with them again!

We had an outstanding trip with Captain Tyler and Jesse on Nothin Matters.  Our family showed up and they were ready to go.  Capt Tyler told us it would be a bit choppy and we could adjust the length of the trip if we wanted and we headed out.  On the way out we got a hit on the troll line.  It took a lot of work and eventually by teenage daughter was able to land a 28 lb wahoo.  Tyler and Jesse were just as excited as everyone in our family.  We got about 18 miles out and started bottom fishing.  Jesse clearly explained what to do with my kids who had never been bottom fishing before. When we started dropping the lines the fish were hitting immediately.  We changed spots a few times and every time we would immediately be reeling them in.  We probably caught about 5 dozen snappers, triggers, amberjack and just a few grunts.  My oldest son was sea sick the whole time and Capt Tyler tried to help him and my youngest son recover.  We weighed out two fish for the Fishing Rodeo - my daughter’s Wahoo and my youngest sons Trigger.  The family is still talking about a week later and can’t wait to be able to go again with the Nothin Matters team.
