Great trip, ocean was a little on the choppy side but we still got on a couple nice fish.ย Even managed to do a little whale watching (not a joke) while we fished.ย I would 100% recommend Capt. Mullins for a fun, safe trip.

Folks, these guys are top class. Before I get into the meat of my review Iโll start with thisโฆ you WILL get fish on this outing. My 9 year old son pulled up 3 Kings, I snagged some as well. We were into the tour for a couple hours with no bites, but Capโn Will and George find the fish. There were other units out there with not much to show and these fellas find the fish, like a sixth sense. If youโre looking for a great day and a coming of age moment for your youth, these guys will make it happen. I, my son and father in law had a blast. We spend a lot of time in the Sunset Beach/Ocean Isle area but had never tried a charter fishing trip. I brought my 13 year old son and his friend last week for a four hour near shore fishing trip with Hey Now Charters.ย We ended up traveling a bit farther offshore for better fishing, and we all loved the trip.ย Captain Mullins and his first mate were both very professional and a lot of fun, which kept the down time interesting.ย We caught plenty of fish and learned a lot in the process.ย The boat was clean and comfortable, and had enough shade to take a break from the sun when needed.ย Overall, it was a very family friendly trip and a great introduction for us to ocean fishing.ย We highly recommend it!

After doing some research, my brother-in-law and I decided to book an afternoon charter with Hey Now Charters. Not long after meeting Captains Will and George, we felt like we had made a couple of new friends. Capt Will and Capt George like to have a good time and are very outgoing. We had a 9 year old and a 14 year old with us who havenโt done a lot of fishing. These guys were great with them, coached them through reeling in the fish, and made sure they had a good time. On the radio, it sounded like some of the other boats were having a slow day, but Captain Will kept us on the fish and we ended up with six Kings in the cooler. We had a lot of fun and I would definitely book with Hey Now Charters in the future!
