As a family of 6, new to salt water fishing, we booked a half day expecting to catch only Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. Capt Tim and his first mate Will, who were great with the kids and easy to communicate with, knew exactly where to take us. We wound up catching a couple of amberjacks, a king mackerel, and even a mahi-mahi. Sore arms and 45 lbs of fish to take home - not too shabby. The boat was clean and comfortable. The views amazing. We had a great time! Capt Tim and First Mate Will were amazing. The boat is clean and super comfortable, They did a great job of making us feel comfortable and always made sure we weren’t in any need of anything… and, we caught plenty of fish! 100% recommend and we WILL be booking again. Awesome day on the water. For my wife and I it was our second time out with Rabid Tuna. My father in law and my wife’s 16 yr old cousin went with us too. Her cousin had never done anything more than river and lake fishing. Tim and Wilbur made sure she went home with a memorable story to tell and she was able to, catching a wahoo. I caught a wahoo, and my wife caught a wahoo and a gigantic 40+ lbs amberjack. We also coughs about a dozen bailer dolphins.

Great offshore trip with Captain Tim and first mate Jake. Takes about 1.5hrs to get out to the fish and then spent about 8hrs fishing 20 miles out. Tim did a great job getting us out on fish, navigating grass and cruising wreck areas. Jake was a total pro all day setting out lines and bringing in fish. Gave the newbies among us an excellent education. Both did their best to take care of us all day long. Look forward to the next trip.

The Rabid Tuna’s Captain (Tim) and mate (Will) were both great and really went the extra mile to ensure our group (with many first-timers) had a great time and that we put fish in the box.  Communications were very clear and helpful throughout the experience.  Everyone had a great time and we definitely will look to Rabid Tuna for future fishing fun.
