We did a private charter for our family of 3 on The Fish Hook! Captain Ronnie and first mate Cross made it one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had! Captain Ronnie knows that ocean like the back of his hand! He had us on the fish almost the entire time! We must have reeled in 150 fish!!!!  Only 7 keepers (Black Sea Bass), but we wet catching them like crazy! Cross was a madman keeping our lines in the water and the fish on the deck. We have an 11 year old son and Cross was AMAZING with him….so patient and helpful and understanding!!!  Our son gets overwhelmed and frustrated very easily, but that didn’t happen!!!  Cross never lost his patience and made it the PERFECT first time ocean fishing experience for our son and my husband! When we got back to the dock, Cross had those fish fileted for us in no time and even let our son help! Our trip was delayed two days because of weather, and I was VERY GRATEFUL that Captain Ronnie didn’t take us out on rough seas!!!  Nobody wants to get sea sick! Overall…I give this trip 10 STARS!!!  If you want a great experience with a VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPERIENCED Captain and first make, you can’t go wrong with FISH HOOK I, II OR III!!!!  We are planningbto book again in the summer to do some shark fishing!!!

Had an amazing time out on the water with Fish Hook Charters. Carson and Rodger were awesome super friendly , and really knew what they were doing. We caught tons of fish and even landed my first shark not the mention the whole 6 people on board caught one which was wild. The crew was super attentive the whole time, making sure we were set up, having fun, and taken care of. You can tell they love what they do, and that energy made the whole trip even better.If you’re thinking about booking a charter, definitely go with these guys. Can’t recommend them enough!

We had a fun day with our family. My son just got into fishing at lakes in Arizona. We surprised him with this deep sea trip and it didn’t disappoint. We all caught fish and some medium sized sharks. We took the meat to a local restaurant and they grilled it for us. Delicious! Would definitely recommend going on this trip.

The crew captained by Carson was a great bunch of guys. Was a little disappointed that we didn’t catch very much and would have had nothing to take back and cook had it not been for a neighboring boat at the dock. The prior couple of days rain kind of messed up the fishing as the water was cloudy. But the crew was very attentive and tried their best to put us on the fish. I guess that’s why they call it fishing and not catching!!

Conditions were much worse than originally forecasted, but the Captain handled the boat like an expert, and the first mate looked like a gold-medal Olympian getting all the equipment ready.  Their work and our patience paid off - big time.  I caught my personal best King Mackerel and Amberjack, despite the conditions.  As an added bonus, I found camaraderie with the crew, and enjoyed their sense of humor.  The mate took extra time to teach my son (an aspiring Captain) some good shortcuts for rigging.  All in all, a 5-star day in unexpected 2-star conditions.  Will definitely book this boat and crew again.  They absolutely worked their tails off to manage our safety, comfort, and fishing success.
