Gerardo Duran did everything but go to the fish market to get us fish. Unfortunealely there was a full moon the night before so the fish were feeding all night but Gerardo moved to many spots to get us fish by trolling & casting with no s success until we decided to use minnows for small peacock bass. Gerardo convinced my girlfriend Antonia to fish which no one could ever do before & she caught her first fish. We had a good time anyway seeing some of the large ships cruising through the canal. I highly recommend Gerardo & Gatun Fishing.

Geraldo was the most fantastic captain and host to me and my wife.  He was extremely helpful and was very knowledgeable of the best places to fish on the lake and he made our experience exciting and memorable.  We would recommend him to anyone wanting a fun experience.  We caught several different kinds of fish and Geraldo explained all of them to us.  Lots of fun!

What a experience!!
I stayed three days in a hotel in la chorrera which was organised by gatún sport fishing and went all day fishing with my girlfriend on the boat.
The crew is just awesome. Our guide Narcisso “Mingi” brought us to the perfect spots. So we caught all this beautiful fish in that untouched nature. Fishing can’t be better! It’s possible to fish so many different technics and it’s good fun to try many different lures.
It was a blast!
We definitely wonna come back!

Great day.  Our second time fishing with Gerardo.  Comfortable boat,  very nice gear, many different lures.  He was great with my son and put us on the fish.  See you next year!!
