Doug and DJ gave it their best, the fish just didn’t cooperate. We managed 7 Spanish mackerel. Heard that it was better than some of the other boats were able to catch. Weather was awesome and enjoyed the trip despite the slow fishing. Not a lot of fighting the fish, more just reeling them in once they bite. Was hoping for a bit more action. Captain filet the fish for us at no charge! Nice bonus.

Captain Doug and his mate DJ are without a doubt are a good time. We caught tons of fish and talked trash the whole time. Very easy going and fun to be around. They both have big personalities and keep you laugh and entertained. Experienced or not they’ll help you put fish on the boat. Had a blast out there couldn’t have asked for a better 1st time experience!

We had a great half day trip on the Gale Anne with Captain Dough and mate D Jay. We got our limit of Spanish mackerel, caught a few sharks, and even pulled in a 10lb king mackerel. Overall a really fun time!

My teenage kids and I went for a four hour shark trip with Capt Doug and DJ. We had a nice time with some fun fish. Missed out on some bc the shrimp boats weren’t running that day, but overall the Capt and mate made it enjoyable. Boat is safe and seaworthy with plenty of deck space and area to avoid the sun if it gets too hot.
