There are extensive flats for fishing within a 15 minute boat ride from Deadman’s Cay.  Almost all of the fishing was done by wading.  The sand flats are soft enough for bare feet.  The fishing was fast and furious when the tides were in our favor.  Dwayne worked tirelessly for us. His passion and enthusiasm for bonefishing were evident. Our sincere thanks to him.

Had an amazing day on the water with Dwayne today.  The conditions were very challenging and Dwayne did everything possible to give us our best chance at finding fish.  I have fished with several guides in the Bahamas in the past and will never fish with anyone on long island except for Dwayne.  He is hands down the best guide I have ever had the pleasure to fish with.Thank you for a day a willl dream about until next year.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a week bonefishing with Captain Dwayne Knowles the week of Feb 25, 2017. Dwayne is extremely knowledgeable about the flats around Long Island and worked very hard to make this a successful fishing trip.  He did his best to put us on the fish in spite of some windy and cloudy weather.
