Captain Gavin was great and very attentive. We had a great trip.

We all caught fish and had a good time.

Positives: Cpt. Noah was amazing and went out of his way to get us on some fish. He’s a genuinely good dude and has a far better temperament than most charter captains. We had a great time and he did a great job, can’t say enough good things about him. If he’s your captain you won’t regret it. He redeemed all the miscommunication we initially struggled with.

Now the negative: listing is very inaccurate. You don’t go out with Captain Bill. This was an issue because communications were confusing due to his number being the only one listed, and no responses in the fishing booker chat. Called lost bay directly and was simply told to not worry about it. Captain Noah did respond eventually the day before our trip, but mistakenly told us to cancel, also due to miscommunication from whoever is scheduling. Secondly, the listing states Perdido Beach Blvd in Orange Beach which is not accurate. All charters go out of Perdido Key FL. This was important to us because we were staying in Gulf Shores, and didn’t want to drive 40 minutes. Whoever manages the listing needs to make some updates.

Had a good time with two of my sons. Caught a variety of fish for the freezer.
