We took two trips with Captain Jeff and first mate Dave in July (my 2nd and 3rd trips with the Captain). They are professional, friendly, entertaining to talk to, and work hard to make the trip fun and successful.

The first trip in mid July had fishing that started a little slow, but radio chatter indicated that everyone was having the same problem. Still, Captain Jeff found us a couple of good spots and the four of us ended up each catching a lake trout and a salmon. The highlight was 2 21# king salmon.

The second trip at the end of July was incredible. Captain knew right where to go, and the 6 of us all limited out (3 fish apiece) well before the end of the charter time. Almost all king salmon with a coho and 2 nice steelhead in the mix. All in all we caught well over 200# of fish and brought home 84# of fillets. The kings included fish of 24, 23, 21, and 18 pounds.

Both trips were a great time, and both groups are hoping to take another trip with Captain Jeff next year!

Captain Jeff and first mate Greg offered an outstanding experience, I booked this trip to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday and my 15 year old son joined us. After an informative and helpful safety review we set sail. The trip out to lthe fishing grounds was quick and we were trolling in no time, The captain and first mate took the time understand our level of experience and came up with a plan that would best fit our level of expertise. It wasn’t long before we were on fish. Birthday boy was the first up on a screaming reel, after a long fight he pulled a 16lb king salmon onboard,
My other son was next with an 8 pound king salmon, and then I followed with another eight pounder. Shortly after the birthday boy pulled in a 17 pound lake trout, my other son pulled in an 8 pound lake trout, and I was on another king salmon.
In between catching the captain took the time to educate my children and the ecosystem of the lake the types of fish that were there, and informed them how the equipment worked. We could not have asked for a better day out on Lake Ontario and our next trip cannot come soon enough. 

It was our first fishing charter and it was life changing! We each caught our max of 3 salmon per person on 2 hours! Capt Jeffrey and first mate Greg were both professional and attentive! We highly recommend Captain Jeffrey and FM Greg!

Jeff and Greg were amazing guides. We had three 13 year olds in our trip who love fishing. We not only ended the day with more fish than we’ll be able to eat but we learned a ton from them about how everything worked. We would highly recommend this experience. It was time and money well spent. Captain Jeff cares greatly about his passengers’ experience and it shows.

They made us feel welcomed and provided a lot of experience which allowed us to catch 3 nice fish. Sent us home with a lot of fish fillets and a great family outing. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a great and memorable experience.We’ll definitely be going again.
