My husband and I had the most fantastic time on our fishing trip with Captain Pedro and his colleague! Pedroโs knowledge and experience are second to none and we truly enjoyed learning from his experience. He is really kind and helpful and great fun too! Nothing was too much of a trouble for him! We caught a fair amount of fish and had the best time! I honestly cannot recommend this experience highly enough, it made our holiday extra special!

My brother and I took our kids, ages 10, 12 and 14 out with Captain Pedro for an afternoon of tuna fishing. We spent a couple hours lazing around on the boat, trolling for tuna. Suddenly one hit and the next 1.5 hours were spent fighting it. It was too much fish for the kids to wrestle with. My brother is recovering from a shoulder injury so he could only feel for about 15 minutes. But, the mate, Joรฃo, patiently and expertly brought the 550 pound monster to the boat. It was a majestic, beautiful creature. We are cooking it up tonight. It was a great experience. Mostly we were witnesses to the whole adventure, as none of us were really able to reel it in, nor was there any casting, etc. But captain Pedro was sweet and his mates were friendly.

Pedro and Carlos top guys, boat really nice as well as all fishing gear is quality, will definitely fish with Pedro again and would highly recommend to everyone.

My brother and I went tuna fishing with captain Pedro and his crew, it was one of the highlight of our trip to Faro. Captain Pedro and his crew were professional and they really know what they are doing. Unfortunately we did not get any tuna, but it was a pleasant experience nonetheless, which both my brother and I highly recommend and would certainly go on a trip with Katjoa Extreme Fishing again.
Hi Emma Thank you for your review; :)))ย well you right, we didnt get any, but we found them, and your brother, had the experience, of having a 200 kg Bluefinn for 15 minutes in the fighting chair, unfortunately we lost him to soon. I hope to see you again next time you come to Algarveโฆย ;)))
Amazing trip, Pedro and his deck hand really knew their stuff. Brilliant day, they took us to the best spot and saw around 16 Marlin and other wildlife dolphins etc. Got few bites but luck wasnt on our side but thats fishing! Still an amazing trip regardless a proper gentleman with old school fishing knowledge. Will definitely be returning to Pedroโs boat next year!
