Our family spent the morning fishing with Captian Merrick, he was the perfect choice for us! He is very patient and fun with kids but also good at giving proper guidance. We had an exciting time seeing all the varities of fish we were able to catch! He understood different areas of the ocean, and knew every fish we caught. We had such a great time fishing with Captian Merrick and would definitely use him again next time we are in the Tampa area.

Captain Merrick is a great guide. This was my families first time fishing in Clearwater and the experience was amazing. We caught multiple species to include Trout, Lady Fish, Flounder, Spot, Grunt, and Cobia. We were fortunate to hookup on two massive Cobia. Overall, I highly recommend booking a trip with Merrick. Had an amazing time out in Clearwater! Captain Merrick picked us up right from our backyard dock, which made the whole experience feel super easy and personalized. If i coukd give Captain Merrick 10 stars I would ! We went out this morning on a half day trip snd caught many sharks , Cobia , and many others ! I highly recommened booking your trip with Merrick . Hes so personable , a wealth of knowledge on the sea and fish. He never gave up on makinc sure we had the most amazing time .
