The fish weren’t cooperative, but thats beyond anyone’s control. We still had a great time with Captain Carlos and Mate Eli. They did everything they could to put us on the fish, but, thats why its called “fishing”, not “catching”.  The boat and equipment were nice, and we did manage to catch a few Mahi Mahi. Would we have liked to catch more? Hell yes!! Do we blame the crew? Hell No!!!! I’m already looking forward to my next trip on the Divina with Carlos and Eli.

Make sure you ask Francisco about cooking your catch, right off the boat and into the restaurant. Mahi Mahi three ways. Even my “anti-fish” son loved it. 

Of the six of us, 4 had never been deep sea fishing, and 2 had never held a rod in their lives.  Everyone had a great time and we’re already talking about “next time”.

What a fantastic day. started well with the crew being very frindly and the weather great. started catching Mahi Mahi early and some barracudas as well. Then came my dream fish. We hooked and caught a 150 lbs Blue Marlin. I have been trying to catch one for 15 years. so all told i caught a blue marlin and 15 other fish. trip of a lifetime. crew were fantastic. go book this boat and crew as fast as you can. dont walk run and book this crew and boat. I will remember this trip of my whole life

I’m an experienced angler, and this was one of the best deep-sea fishing excursions I’ve had.

My wife and I went on a 9-hr trip. We
trolled and caught 10 fish: 7 mahi mahi and 3 barracuda. While the fishing was strong and the weather was great, the best part was how well-choreographed the experience was.

Francisco runs an incredible operation. Communication was clear and timely up front, payment was simple, we were picked up and dropped off at our resort (10-min drive) for no added charge, the entire crew was immensely helpful and friendly, and a nearby beach club was very accommodating by cooking our catch and preparing wonderful food afterward.

Several people helped throughout the day to ensure everything was seamless, and we are particularly grateful for Francisco (owner), Carlos (captain), Guy (first mate), and Anthony (driver).

Collectively, the team made this a very memorable experience, and I highly recommend them to others.

From snowy New York to the warm shores of the DR, this trip exceeded every expectation.
Francisco greeted me on the beach like an old friend after we’d only messaged from 1,500 miles away. Traveling solo, I was immediately welcomed aboard and introduced to Captain Carlo and first mate Guy — and somehow we fell into a rhythm like we’d fished together for years, despite not even speaking the same language.

We landed king mackerel, mahi-mahi, and barracuda, but the real catch was the experience itself. Even if I had planned every detail (which I didn’t), it couldn’t have matched what these three incredible men and their team delivered. Truly the trip of a lifetime — many, many thanks!

We had a great experience on this charter. The crew was outstanding — Captain Charlie and his first mate, Kiki took excellent care of us from start to finish and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. We had a decent day fishing and caught 4 Barracuda. You never know exactly what you’re going to catch, but that is fishing anywhere you go. The crew worked hard to get us on fish and that is what matters. What really stood out was the crew’s attitude, professionalism, and effort to make the trip enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend this charter and would fish with them again.
