Thank you Val. You, Sharon, Bob and Crystal were fun to have on Mayhem. Your trip was a pleasant change in size of fish (I doubt Crystal would agree, lol!) I’m glad we had a pretty steady bite and really enjoyed the conversation with another ol squid! I hope we get to see you again for something bigger!

Jerome, we tried! I told you they weren’t great and they held up to that prediction. I’m sorry they didn’t surprise me and have a sudden growth spurt, lol! I hope Johnny is doing fine after the heat. Hopefully they will get bigger before the end of the year and we can try again. Stay healthy and we look forward to your next visit.

Thank you Jim! Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been out of state with family for a few days. Your trip did catch quite a few Spaniards and blues. It’s too bad we had those dry spells looking for the fish. We had the same thing that following Sunday. Also, I for one could have done without the excitement of the thunderstorm on the way in. I got greedy and wanted to “fish” the lines in instead of cranking them up and running. Everyone was good and we did catch a couple more! Glad you both had a good time and we look forward to seeing you again. Maybe it won’t be a whole year this time. Stay well and we will see you next time!

Thank you Beverly. It WAS a HOT day! I was worried about you guys in that heat and I am still feeling it today. I hope you all aren’t having any problems from it. The fish were small but they were kind enough to bite. I wish something big had hooked itself on Kay Lin’s line so she could have been a little happier. It was great sharing stories with other farmers. I fondly remember my childhood on the dairies. Thank you again and hope to see you all again sometime!
