Thanks for fishing with us. sorry we did not meet your expectations. those fish that you saw were Vermillion snappers and not red snappers . But our federal for hire red Snapper season does not open until June 1 and the private recreational season opens up May 22. This can always be confusing to customers because of the way it’s published and how the news media announces it. Also, please keep in mind that you booked a four hour trolling trip in which we do not target red snapper on a four hour trip as it is written in the Tripp description.  the other boats that you seen that seemed to have more fish left earlier and ran longer trips, not all trips are the same. You may have seen a five hour catch or six hour catch. and also some of those boats left out at 6 AM in the morning and didn’t get back until five and six in the evening, God bless.
