Dane and Ben had us catching halibut from the moment the boat stopped and we were catching fish constantly for 3 hours. it was an amazing day.
For our first chartered fishing trip in Alaska, this trip set high standards going forward. Captin Zack and 1st mate Larz were both very knowledgeable and had a lot of advice from best tasting fish, to processing, to shipping. The day was sunny and water was mostly calm. We caught our limit of rock fish and halibut plus we had a blast catching cod! I especially enjoyed that Zack made it a “team” experience and Larz offered to take pictures multiple times of me holding my fish! :) They were both very nice and had great sense of humor! Absolutely recommend Captin Zack and Larz! We will be back to fish with them again!

Captian Zach put us on Halibut, Rock Fish and Cod. All great eating size and a blast to catch! Deck hand Larz did a phenomenal job taking care of us and Captian Zach help also. They were informative, socialbe and very good at what they do. The Blue Fox is a fine vessel and hand everything you could need. I highly reccomend them for your once in a lifetime fishing experience!
Capt. Travis and mate Lars are the ultimate crew. Punctual. Great personalities. Answered any and all questions. Kept everything spotless. They even provided us with PERFECT weather. And, 48 lbs of processed fish- limit of halibut and good cod. We were grandpa(79) and grandson(18). Highly recommend.
We did a 3 hour trip with Zach and Lars. Had a family of 5 onboard with 3 kids (11, 10 and 7). Spent the first hour having fun catching rock fish before the real fun began. Zach/Lars got us on a school of fish that led to an hour of mayhem catching King Salmon and Silver Salmon. Kids had a blast as each one reeled in a salmon, we hit our limit for King Salmon and shipped home more than 30 lbs. of fish. It was the highlight of our trip to Alaska and an epic fishing experience. Zach and Lars were great with our kids too in terms of helping them with fish and answering a LOT of questions from young, enthusiastic fishermen!

Captain crew was very attentive to our needs. Zach and. Lars were excellent in both service and attitude. We limited on both cod and halibut both days with a boat record of 75 cod on the last day.
