The captain can’t control the weather, which turned the day before.  The normal first mate was not there and the stand in was average.  We had to bait our own hooks and manage the kid fisherman while the mate was untangling lines from the prop and smoking his cigarette.  We did catch fish, all short ( except one) and Doug was quick to realize this was not the best day and we called it early.

This was our first charter fishing trip in the gulf. What a fun time we had. The Captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. We caught enough fish to have for dinner that night. I highly recommend “Six Shooters Charters”

Had a great day out on the water. Captian Doug put us on the fish and it was just a matter of hookin’ em and reelin’ em in. He and his crew did a great job takin care of us, had a great time and would recommend to anybody.

We have a great time with Captain Doug!! He made sure we were all having fun and catching fish!  Will definitely use him again!!!
