My dad, two brothers, and myself spent two full days fishing with Captain Drake. He called the day before our trip to discuss weather conditions and let us know the first day could be tough due to wind conditions. Fortunately, when we showed up conditions were better than expected and we ended up having a great day taking home 40+ fish. My dad and brothers all hooked into 20+ lb black drum at the same time which was awesome!
The second day started off with higher winds than expected but Capt. Drake still put us on fish and we ended up taking 50+ home. We caught a bit of everything but primarily speckled trout, redfish, and black drum.
I would highly recommend Captain Drake and will definitely be calling him for future trips. He was fun, conversational, and extremely knowledgeable.

Our trip started at 5:30am in August 2023. Captain Drake was on time and had the boat ready for us. He explained clearly what to expect on a day with such a brutal heat as we have this summer. After a short ride before sunrise, we arrive to a spot where we started getting hits right away. Two bull reds, 19lb drum and lots of trout. Captain Drake is a professional in his business and made this trip very enjoyable. I highly recommend Victory Bay for your next fishing adventure. If there’s fish out there, Captain Drake will find it!

Great trip with Captain Dracos! Very professional and got us on some great fish to take on home! Also great at answering any questions about fishing or boating in the area. We had a few of us with not much fishing experience and he was great helping us out with teaching us the basics and what all we needed to know to land some big fish We had a great time thanks Capn Dracos!

Excellent service, would not hesitate to use again.  Capt. put us on the trout early and we had a nice bag to take home in short order.  Scouted about for new action for the remainder, mixed results.  Capt. is personable, professional and pleasant to engage with.
