Literally, Capt. Jon and his “black Dog” Trey, were amazing. We took our 2 young grandsons with us (ages 3,5) they were very apprehensive about going on the water at first but Trey came up front and laid down right between the children, who immediately calmed down once they started petting the dog. When we stopped and began to fish it was amazing the way the dog watched the rods, when he noticed a bite, he would go to the base of the rod and stand there and stare at the pole. Capt Jon was very knowledgeable and personable, we enjoyed our day on the water with the pair, and the fishing was a lot of fun as well. It was the first time we ever did shark fishing. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Capt Jon, and his first mate black dog, were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The first mate stays out of your way and is very calm, cool and collected, and will even watch the rods for you and let you know when a fish is on with a bark ha! First time catching shark and chattering nearshore. 10/10 recommend and will do again!

John & Trey were great hosts. We caught a couple sharks and a stingray on a short 2 hr trip, which was the perfect amount of time for my children.

The 2 hour trip is a great first time out with young children as well as for seasoned angler’s.  Jon is great and good dog treck is a must.
