This trip was a great experience, even with a two people in our group getting sea sick. Captain Mitchell was very accommodating and quickly got our people back on shore as soon as they decided they couldn’t stay on the water. While on the trip, we caught several fish and Captain Mitchell did a great job of getting us on good fishing areas. The shrimping was also a very fun experience as well. Tanner, Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to provide a review. I hate that they got sea sick. The reef was absolutly loaded with fish and you all would have caught one fish after the other. When you are sea sick I have learned there is no place like dry land. I will never hold a customer hostage on the water when they are sea sick. ? So if they are feeling bad and want to go back to port I will take them. I am glad we were able to take the two... More

Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to provide a review. I hate that they got sea sick. The reef was absolutly loaded with fish and you all would have caught one fish after the other.
When you are sea sick I have learned there is no place like dry land. I will never hold a customer hostage on the water when they are sea sick. ? So if they are feeling bad and want to go back to port I will take them.
I am glad we were able to take the two of you back out shrimping. The Bottle Nose Dolphin encounter is very good when we pull in the net, sort the catch, and return the bi-catch.

Captain Mitch was great! He was knowledgable, took us right to the fish and kept up over them the whole time. Our arms got tired from hauling in all the fish we hooked up! Looking forward to my daughter’s high school softball season next year so I have an excuse to come back and hook up with Captain Mitch again! Great guy, great fun!!

Great experience, Captain Mitchell did an excellent job on a tough weather day. Really a great job working with kids. My 7 year old boy describes in one word “Awesome”. Kids are allowed and taught to help navigate the boat, captain explains how to navigate, what signs means, etc. throughout trip. Shrimping with dolphins just a couple of feet from the boat was a hoot for all in the boat. Caught a veriety of fish inland and just off the pier in the oacean as well.

HE IS A SPONGE!!!
He is a very bright kid and I enjoyed teaching him a little about navigating on the water. He was interested and involved in every aspect of the charter and that makes it fun for me.
The uniquness to this charter is I let kids be as involved as they want to be as long as safety allows.

I saw a lot of me in him. I got my first boat at 12 years old. You may be in the boat market for him in a few years.
