Had a great time on the Vengeance. We bottom fished and caught Red Snapper, Bonita, Shark, Triggerfish, and big Amberjack’s. Capt Pearson put us on fish immediately and his son Adrian worked his butt off keeping us with lines in the water. We did some trolling to try and catch a big Wahoo or Sailfish but weren’t lucky enough to catch any. That’s how it goes and we knew that going in but we wanted to give it a shot anyway. Adrian cooked some fish for us on the boat and it was better than anything you’d get in a restaurant. We had a great trip and would highly recommend them. We’ll book with them again for next year! My wife, boys (8 and 12) and I, had the BEST time ever!  We were about 30 minutes into our excursion and my boys BOTH hooked sharks!  One estimated around 80lbs the other around 150lbs.  Tons of Spanish Mackerel which we took to a local restaurant and had blackened, grilled and fried and they were delicious!  The crew worked super hard the whole time and helped my boys pull in the sharks(which was a battle!) and just made it a great experience.  May not be a big deal to some, but they were also priced a bit better than some competition here in Destin.  Will definitely fish with Captain Matthew and Vengeance next time! 

These guys are hands down top notch. Let’s just say when you pull right up to a boat with twice the people on it and your catching 5 or 6 fish to there 1 I knew I was on the right boat. Captain Matthew knew there were Spanish mackerel in the bay so instead of going straight to catch bait first like everyone else did we trolled first and hit some Spanish. Captain Matthew knows his stuff and Christian made sure us guy’s fishing didn’t have a pole out of the water. Good humor and good people. If you want to book a charter that’s going to put you on fish like you want to on these trips these are the guys to book with. We appreciate it!!! See ya next year.
