My fishing aficionados and I embarked on a 2 day trip to get a sailfish in Stuart FL. What we encountered were rough seas . In day 1 we caught some barracuda and bonito, in day 2 we switched to fishing the bay and caught a variety of fish . The one constant was Captain Trent, he was relentless in the pursuit of getting us fish to catch . His attitude was excellent at all times to go along with his effort. He was exactly what I would want in anyone providing a service , so we were very fortunate to have selected him to help us in our quest. Fishing changes for so many factors that are out of our control so at least where you do have control pick the right vehicle to get you there with “Catch of the Day” and Captain Trent, even if the weather is less than great Captain Trent will be better than most.

We had a great experience aboard Catch of the Day. Trent and Josh are very professional and knowledgeable when doing their job,  and you can tell they love what they do.
Captain quoted during the trip ” my main objective is that the customer has a good time and is satisfied “.
On this charter the crew will of course fish for what you prefer and the method you want, but after trolling was slow that day, we let them suggest what was the best way to catch the most fish on that day, and they didn’t let us down. They both worked hard the whole full day charter and it paid off. Even a very nice grouper.
This was my first charter with Catch of the Day, one of many boats I’ve been on, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back.

We’ve been on many fishing charters and Catch of the Day has become our new offshore favorite! We went out under borderline fishing conditions, 3-5 foot seas and 10-15 mph winds, but Captain Josh and his very sturdy boat handled it well. We had an amazing day limiting out on vermillion snapper and boating a large variety of other fish while the other boats were getting nearly skunked. Mate John was very attentive to our every need,  boating our fish and keeping the boat meticulously clean. Captain Josh really knew how to filet fish and had a great sense of humor. Catch of the Day is now our #1 choice for offshore fishing!

My family and I were very impressed with the services provided by Catch of the Day . Captain Josh and Mate John were nothing but Amazing. They accommodated our trip while we were in town and made our adventure an unforgettable one. The boat was very clean, organized and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was the first time I’ve seen someone rig the Kite and use it for Sailfish. Just 2 hours into our trip, (that includes catching live bait), we land a Sail! Not only did we catch 1, but caught 3 Sailfish which was a first for us in our group! We also caught plenty of fish to take home for dinner; Mutton, King, and Tuna to name a few. In addition to the fishing experience, Captain Josh recommended a few local spots we could eat at that were truly as he described, Fabulous! Don’t waste your time on other charters and play a guessing game, book with Capt. Josh and Catch of the Day for an amazing experience. We have found our Charter in Jensen Beach and can’t wait to return.

We had a fantastic day! Both the Captain and Mate did an excellent job with the group of first timers I brought out to include my Granddaughter, daughter, boyfriend and my wife. Both were extremely patient and professional and took a lot of time and effort to ensure all had a great time. The boat was in excellent shape and well equipped. We left on time caught live bait and headed out for a slow morning of trolling that picked up towards the afternoon as we headed in for some bottom fishing. We caught a mixed bag of Mahi, Mutton & Vermilion Snapper, Bonita, small Sharks and others to finish off a great day.
