We were aware this not being the best time for walleye. We did well and thoroughly enjoyed the day even though a couple of us weren’t feeling well. A big thank you to Sean.

Great experience, caught some good fish, would definitely book again.

We had a great time with Sean out on the water. It was all of our first times fishing for walleye and he did a great job at showing us how it was done. The day was a little bit slow for everyone out on the water but we managed to land some nice walleye as well as several other species. The boat is perfectly maintained as well as the fishing equipment. We are already planning our next trip back out.

Captain Sean’s effort was outstanding. Overall it was a slow day; there was a bug hatch the day before we fished so I think we ran into bad luck there. We paid for a half day trip but Sean gave us significantly more time to catch fish. All in all we only caught 6 keepers, however, one of those was a 28.5” walleye which qualified for Fish Ohio. That catch alone made the trip. Sean also cleaned the fish with no extra charge; I challenge you to find another captain in that area that is willing to do that. Sean took me and one other friend. Along with the high effort, Sean has an upbeat, positive, colorful personality which helped make for a positive overall experience. I will be fishing Lake Erie sometime in the future and will be booking with Captain Sean again.
