We had a fantastic experience on the water: we saw the Wallops rocket (the June 24, 2022 sounding rocket launch) return to the marina on a fishing vessel while catching flounder, and that was the first 15 minutes of our outing! A few more flounder in the various habitats while exploring shore bird nesting sites gave a good idea of the ebb and flow of the back bay. The opportunity to switch fishing techniques and get close to a small dusky shark before releasing it to the open water was unforgettable! Hearing the lifelong outdoor adventures that brought Captain Tim to Chincoteague made for a great day, topped off by following his advice for preparing and enjoying the freshest catch of the day! Captain Tim is one of the best character Captains you will find! This is my second trip and it just as great as my first trip. He helped me catch 2 Atlantic sharp nose sharks, 1 Dusky shark, and 10+ Atlantic crocker. Since the water was calm we were able to fish further from shore and fished for spade fish, and we even saw a 1000+ pound manta ray! Tim is a guide who wants you to make the best from your trip whether you are targeting Sharks, Cobia, flounder, or anything that can be caught near shore. I will definitely be booking with Tim next year! Fish on! ✝️🎣

It was an awesome trip hunting down some flounder! It was my first time charter fishing so my dad followed along although it was windy which made it colder you can’t avoid the fun!! Captain Tim was a great guide helping us catch four flounder and overall an amazing person to talk to! Coming from Ohio if we come back we would definitely charter with the Captain again!!!!!

We did the half day shark hunter trip with Capt Tim and it was an amazing experience. It was myself my 11 year old son my cousin and my dad, it was not a great day for weather and the sharks were not biting extremely well. We were catching lots of fish but no sharks. But with Capt Tim’s knowledge and determination we caught one. My son was able to real him in and the pure excitement on his face was incredible. The weather was getting a little rough and I know Capt Tim was determined to get my son the opportunity to real in a shark, and he did. We went in after we released the shark back to the water but I am extremely appreciative of him because I think he stayed out longer just to make sure he got one. So a massive 5 star review from us we all had a great day on the water and my son has a memory he will never forget. We will be back at some point to fish with Capt Tim again.

The weather wasn’t supposed to be the best and Capt Tim gave us an option to continue with the trip or cancel. We decided to continue with the trip and see how the weather played out. I am glad we did. My 2 boys each caught a shark! He was great with guiding them thru how to get the shark to the boat. We also got close to dolphins feeding in the bay, it was an added bonus we didn’t expect. Capt Tim was very knowledgeable in regards to fishing for shark in the area. We did stop our trip a little early due to the weather but it was a joint decision. It was overall a great trip and we will book again with Capt Tim for another chance to catch more sharks and other fish in the area.
