Juan and his brother know what they are doing.  Even during a swell, we caught two fighting roosters and some Tuna more inland.  Good half day trip with Cervezas and a breeze.  I’d recommend.

Great boat!  Great crew!  Just didn’t catch as many as we would have liked but that’s part of fishing.

This was an excellent fishing trip, my first in Costa Rica and Pacific waters. Eddy the captain and Israel the deck hand were great. They worked hard to put us on fish. We didn’t get the Yellow Fin Tuna or Snapper we wanted, but we got 8 Mahi Mahi and took a lot of fish back to the resort for many to enjoy. We caught Rooster, Bonita and Jacks also for a fun day on the water. The crew provided plenty to eat and drink. They filleted the Mahi and bagged it for us.

One thing that was not explained ahead of time, the contact person is not always who will be on the boat. I communicated with Jose, but it seems he was the boss, but not who worked the boat. Also, Jose tried to make me pay for the accidental breakage of a fishing pole when the very large Rooster fish slipped out the crews hands while trying to bring it on board. Crew tried to explain it was not my fault, as I did to him on the phone, but not to his satisfaction.
