This trip was an excellent overall experience. This captain knows his business and works to produce plenty of fish. We caught fish with almost non stop action the whole trip. Also Captain Karl is good at sharing his knowledge and was a pleasure to fish with. Great trip, we will return.

I can not say enough nice things about Captin Karl. My daughter (6 year old) and I spent the morning with him. It was her first time on a boat, and he knew exactly what to do. We stayed in calm waters of the bay and gradually worked our way out as we were more confident she wouldn’t get sea sick. He allowed her to hold the rod herself and have independence, imedeitly had us on fish to get her attention. He took time to let her safely touch, investigate and explore each fish. It was our first experience actually going out in the water and fish. We were pretty inexperienced when it came to fishing but captain Karl made us feel very comfortable. He was also very knowledgeable and with his help we were about to catch some decent size fishes. It was a very memorable experience and I would highly recommend him. Had a great time with Capt. Karl today. Fished for fluke all day. Started closer to shore and he managed to get two on the same rod at the same time somehow. Then later on we moved out further from shore where we caught a bunch more including 3 keepers. He was very knowledgeable of the techniques and good areas to drift. Will definitely look to book with him again!

Capt. Karl bled for us as we caught ~25 dogfish… The experience was fun and learned a few things. We ended up with a wonderful fluke for fish tacos (had to throw back 5 bc too small). Great guy and a great time.
