My friend and I wanted to change it up for our girlโs weekend and decided to try fishing! We both have gone fishing with our families in the past, but by no means are we experts, so hiring a fishing guide sounded perfect.
Tyler was at the boat ramp early with the boat ready to go waiting for us at the dock. He even carried our cooler for us to the boat! (He already had bottled water in his cooler for us though!)
Tyler recommended an evening trip on a lake called Lake Decker. Excellent recommendation! We both caught a bunch of fish and had a blast. I really didnโt expect to catch a ton since neither of us were very experienced with fishing. But our captain had super nice fishing gear and set us up with lures that were easy to use. He taught us how to cast, retrieve the bait, and set the hook when we felt a bite. If you are a beginner he is the captain to book!
We looked at the reviews for the other captains on here, but Tyler had the best and I can see why! We had an awesome time and will be back for sure.
