We had a awesome time out with Captain Joe. The family was limited on knowledge of fishing. Captain Joe was a great instructor and had us catching big fish the whole trip. My wife had an inland slam and would of had a 6 foot shark if it hadn’t snapped the line. The rest of us caught very big fish and had a very tasty lunch prepared by Water Edge. We highly recommend Captain Joe for anyone’s coastal fishing excursion. He will definitely be seeing us again.

Cannot say enough good stuff about Captain Joe and our fishing trip. He called the day before to see if we would be willing to meet a little earlier because the fish were biting better ... this was a pretty good indicator he wanted us to have a great fishing experience not just fill in those four hours.  He’s super knowledgeable about the area and knew exactly where to go (incredible sunrise btw). But way beyond anything else what I appreciated the most was how he interacted with our two boys - (16 and 10). Capt Joe did everything he could to set them up for success and was extremely patient. He Involved my oldest a lot and let him help out which my son loved.  Capt Joe Never missed a beat with any of us. He absolutely knows his stuff and ensured we all had a great day on the water.  When our time was “technically” up - he didn’t tell us to reel it in - he said If the fish were biting then we should keep fishing.  Another huge indicator that the he just loves to fish and loves to share that with other folks. So at the end of this fish tale ... We caught lots of fish; black drum, red fish, flounder, trout, a pufferfish and a tenacious crab or two BUT most importantly it was just a great experience with a great guy.

What a lot of fun! Captain Joe was very patient and knowledgeable and my son had a great birthday experience! Highly recommend!

We had the best morning fishing with Captain Joe! The four of us caught about 4O fish! He knew exactly where to go and exactly how to set us up for success! We can’t wait to come back and bring our kids!
