Fantastic evening trawling for Tuna, Capt Mike new the hot spots and we were lucky enough to get on the fish. Best experience you could have fighting a massive Tuna for 1.30hrs and feeling the weight and power of this awesome Tuna. The deck hand Alfonso was a great help in making sure we got it to the boat 👏👏

We had an amazing day with Capt. Mike and deckhand Afonso on the gavito, they were very organized, super friendly and their gear was phenomenal. Went to hopefully catch a big tuna and sure enough they made it happen with a 185 pound big eye tuna. Very satisfied and highly recommend them for a charter.

Mike and Alonso are professionals who want to put their customers on the fish. Explained everything to a group of new fisherman. Hooked up on a nice tuna. Would recommend

No luck with any bites on our half-day game fishing trip, but did get lucky with a brand new, bigger boat recently bought by the Captain. Despite the quiet fishing, it was very enjoyable. Captain and crew are first rate, highly recommended!

We, the members of the sea fishing club Werneuchen/Germany, were able to spend four fantastic fishing days off Madeira at the end of September with the crew of Gavito Madeira Fishing Charters, Capt Anders and the fishing guides, Alphonso and David.We received great care from the crew of the boat “Gavito”. The food, drinks and guiding were excellent. We caught a 220 lbs. yellowfin tuna. The drill lasted into the night and the captain and crew gave the angler great support.We were particularly enthusiastic about the bottom fishing with the crew of the Gavito. We caught quite a few big snappers in one day and were thrilled.At all times Capt. Anders and his crew fantastic. One of the best we have ever experienced in fishing guiding in the world. We will come back in any case.
