We were greeted by the Captain and Mate. They both were pleasant and gave us some knowledge of what was planned for the day. We headed out to the ocean and they quickly started a game plan and put out some lines and almost immediately the reals were screaming. We got a HUGE Mahi Mahi and several other smaller ones, they also got a Marlin on the line but I think I pulled to hard and broke him off. We also had several sailfish. Overall we couldn’t of asked for a better crew and the boat was also very sound and clean.

Had a great day of fishing with the family. We were worried about the red tide but our crew brought us far enough out and knew exactly where to look. We ended up with 5 tuna and even caught (and released!) a sailfish! Great day on a perfect boat!

The crew was spectacular! They were very nice and professional! They brought us to a beautiful spot and within the first 5 minutes we caught 2 yellow fin tuna! At the end of the day we hooked a Marlin and even though our time was over they stayed out for 2 extra hours to let us fight it! I would definitely recommend this boat/crew to anyone looking for a fun and exciting day on the water!

I’ve charted numerous boats in Costa Rica. I’ve had the most success on Papi Chulo. The captain is very knowledgeable of the local waters. I caught a 350 lb Marlin, many large Mahi’s, Tuna and sailfish. I’ve been out with them several times now and will continue. It’s a great deal and the captain and crew enjoy a good time.

My Fiancé and I went down to CR for vacations. One of the best things we experienced, if not the best, was that fishing trip with Papichulo!! We had a blast!! We took the full day trip and saw one of the most beautiful waters and fish we had ever seen!! And got couple really nice Dorados!!! It was the first time for my Fiancé and she loved it. George “Papichulo” gave us an incredible fishing experience in Costa Rica!!  Pura Vida!!!
