EVERYTHING WORKED LIKE CLOCKWORK WITH REGARD TO THE RESERVATION, COMMUNICATION WITH THE CAPTAIN, DEPARTURE TIME, ETC.  NICE BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS AT THE DOCK.  CAPTAIN WAS VERY ACCOMODATING TO OUR NEEDS TO ADD AN HOUR TO THE TRIP AND TO DEPART AN HOUR EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED.

FISHING WAS SLOW THE FIRST 45 MINUTES AND THEN WE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT SPOT AND CAUGHT OUR LIMIT OF 25 BLACK DRUM FOR THE 5 OF US WITHIN TWO HOURS.  THE REST OF THE TIME WAS CATCH AND RELEASE.

THEN WE WENT TO HULI HULI HUT JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY WHERE THEY COOKED OUR FRESH CATCH FOR US 4 DIFFERENT WAYS.

THE ENTIRE DAY WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.

This was my first fishing charter, Shannon was super easy to get along with and listen to. We limited out on Black Drums and were able to take filets home! Looking to book another charter during a later season for deeper water! Highly recommend. He also steered us to Hulu Huli Hut which will cook your catch too!

My son is a senior and I told him we were going fishing in Galveston… he didn’t know I was taking him on a boat! He was excited but not as excited as he would be when he caught the BIGGEST black drum we had ever seen… TWICE! Plus a couple we got to take home and cook! Captain Shannon was amazingly patient and helpful with each haul. Even with my lack of experience we still had an unforgettable time. My son is already about the next trip!

My wife, son and I had the best time on a fishing trip in Galveston with Captain Shannon! The weather was perfect, and the water was calm. We reeled in five fish and my son almost realed in a massive trout. Shannon helped him get his first catch ever.

Captain Shannon knew the fishing spots like the back of his hand and gave us awesome tips and tricks along the way. His passion for fishing was contagious, and he made sure we were having a blast from start to finish.

All in all, this fishing trip was great! It may not have been a record-breaking haul, but the thrill of nearly catching that monster trout was enough to keep us on the edge of our seats. I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Shannon for an unforgettable day on the water.
