When the Capt. wasn’t able to charter our trip for a legitimate unforeseen, he immediately went to work finding us another one. “I got you” Within an hr we got synced up with Capt Ian.

His 23’ Parker was clean and comfortable. Gear was new and taken care of. He was on time and was prepared. Sea safety is important, and Capt Ian provided a soup to nuts safely brief before leaving the harbor.

We made a short quick run to “The Nine”. The Capt. had us on fish within minutes. After catching several species he ran us near shore to target halibut and bass. Again, the Capt. delivered. I’d recommend Capt Ian to anyone looking to charter out SD.

Trip was good organized. I’ve got all information about parking, licenses, weather forecast from Scottie and Captain Ian before trip so it was very easy to start trip. We had good time on the boat. Captain Ian brought us to rockfish spot so we catch good size and amount of fish. We’re planning to back when tuna arrives. Thanks Brothers Sport Fishing for good day.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to San Diego.

The communication was top notch, the expertise was obvious, the care for us as guests was obvious, and the whole dang thing was fun!!

Not only did we get a great haul that we turned into an amazing dinner (see pictures), but we got to see two pods of dolphins along the way (one was in the hundreds… see video for a closeup).

I would 100% recommend Brothers Sports Fishing, and they will be my first call should I make it back to San Diego any time soon.

We had originally scheduled for Saturday, weather was looking good and hoped for a good haul.  Got out to a few spots and the water was too choppy and no bites. Captain Jon offered to reschedule or refund, we opted to reschedule to Tuesday.

Come Tuesday we meet up, weather looks better, but the further we got the chopper the water got but Jon had multiple spots up his sleeve to hit, weather wasn’t on our side but Jon did everything he could to make the trip enjoyable and we def had a great time out there with him. At one point the kiddos we had with us were getting restless so he let them both be co-captains and he showed them how to drive the boat and engaged amazingly with them!

We would 100% book again we had a great experience!
