Over this Summer, we made an attempt to check off a few items on our little ones bucket list and fishing was one of them. We looked up companies that would be able to deliver a first class experience for out little guy.  To say I was nervous was an understatement —4hrs of chartered fishing on Lake Conroe…in this Texas heat..with a 6 year old who has the attention span of a gnat🥵🥴. 

However, Mr. Jimmy was truly heaven sent.  He was the most patient and caring man.  He took his time to explain everything he was doing all the while ensuring that Soren knew the “ropes” and answered all of the questions he and I had about the area/lake. Soren had the best time on the lake and caught so many fish!  Some he couldn’t keep due to size.  I couldn’t have selected a better person for this experience if you have small children; you will not be disappointed with Captain Jimmy.  He was amazing and we would definitely book with him again!

I cannot believe what a huge success this was and had no idea Lake Conroe had such good fishing! Captain Jimmy was super knowledgeable and friendly. He was always in the move, quick to bait each hook and take the fish off. Gave plenty of tips but also let you do your own thing if you want. He made sure to ask what was most important to us so that he could make it happen, whether that was fishing the whole time or adding in swimming, lake tour, or docking at Starbucks. The boat itself is comfortable and surprisingly cool with the lake breeze and the roof shade up. He cleaned the fish and had plastic baggies - bring your own cooler if you have a long drive home. Sunscreen and hand sanitizer available on board. Such a great day, and we’ll be eating good for a while! Plan to book again.

One of the best fishing trips we have ever been on. Captain Jimmy was very knowledgeable and super nice. We had a great time!

We limited out on catfish and one shy of bass all before noon.
My wife Anita, Grace our Service Dog, and myself had a great morning with Captain Jimmy.
Even if we didn’t catch any fish at all we would have had a special time on the lake and made a new friend.

Jimmy put us on the fish. We caught our limit and he was very patient with my grandson who asked many questions.
