Great experience. Captain was extremely knowledgeable and easy going. Caught tons of fish including 15+ keepers which were filleted after the trip. Would recommend this charter to everyone! Will be back in the summer for another go around.

He was a great captain. Very friendly to family and little kids. Straight forward and patient with new to deep sea fishing people. Helpful and accommodating where he can be with a 5 yr old. My daughter love the fast boat ride back to land. We caught about 40 or so fish small but we still caught fish. Was really fun just catch And release for us. Will be visiting Capt. Nelson again in the future

My son and i went bottom fishing with Captain Nelson.  We successfully caught Sea Bass, Snapper and Trigger fish.  Captain Nelson is very familiar with the area.  He did a great job educating myself and my son as to the bait we needed to use as well as fishing techniques. This was a very positive experience and we look forward to going on another fishing trip with Captain Nelson.

I booked a fishing trip with Captain Nelson. I took 4 family members/friends with me. He was on time and where he said he’d be. He baited our hooks for us, took our fish off the hook, and provided a cooler with ice. He also played great music on the boat. All we needed to bring was our sunscreen, snacks, and drinks, he provided everything else. We can’t wait to do it again!!

We had a good time but the bite was slow. Only one shark to be had but saw some dolphins, a king jumped by our boat and shrimp being hauled out by the shrimp boats.
