My 14 year old son and I book a fishing excursion each time we are in Cancun, but this is the first time fishing the shallow waters of Nichupte Lagoon. We will definitely be rebooking when we come again next year. The fish species are impressive and the scenery is amazing. Jose, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable and took care of everything we needed to help us maximize our time on the water.

What a lovely guy and his trained guides are brilliant. Mo was amazing how he cast a net in a secluded area and caught live sardines to use as live bait for spinning. He taught my son within 30 minutes to cast and to be fair my son beat me 13 to 7 catches. From snoop to snapper fish. A brilliant 4 hours and any excursion or private charter I would suggest through Martin. Before my trip he liased with me and answered all my questions and made everything so simple. Martin your service is A1 and I can’t wait to be back with you next year. Thanks for making my son 11 year olds son a remarkable and memorable day. Great service and great guys.

The places i was taken were very nice secluded and personal! I had never been on this type of trip before and didn’t know what to expect! I expected to see loads of people fishing and that was not the case i seen one other boat fishing and it was another guest with the same company. I caught a snook of about 2 lb and a tarpon of about similar size! I have a few other chances but with no joy it was great fun just a pitty 4 hours goes super fast! Im booked in for another day before a go back home and i cant wait! One thing i will say is if you are not an average to good fly caster i would try spinning as the casting has to be fairly accurate or you will be caught in the mangroves which i did a few times🤦🏻♂️ i feel the main targets are snook and tarpon. I did want to mainly target bonefish but i do t think their are many in the area

My son and I had a great time on this trip and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for some backwater fishing. The entire experience was top notch from start to finish. The booking process was simple and the boat/equipment was in great shape and ready to go right at 6AM. Captain Mauricio worked hard and did a great job putting us on fish all day. He was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and was excellent on giving us advice to help us have a successful day fishing. Overall, this was one of the best charters we have ever done and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for backwater fishing.

Captain Noel was extremely kind and friendly starting from the greet! The boat was very clean and the tackle was in very good working condition. We started our trip at 0600 and ended at 1000. Capt Noel knew just what to do and where to go. From the first spot to the last we were on the fish!! It started with SNOOK and Jumping a TARPON!! That was epic in itself ( to also include loosing a BIG JACK ) we left the SNOOK biting as my wife and I had our fill plus we encouraged the Capt to follow his instincts. He then immediately put us on the BONE FISH!! it didn’t take long at all before we landed a few of those and I was extremely impressed with how HARD those guys can fight!!

But most importantly the VIBE on the boat was very GOOD. I can tell the captain truly had a LOVE for fishing and I can respect that. He was just as excited to see us catch fish as we were to catch them. He was very tentative to our needs re-tying leaders and always had rods for us at the ready when needed.He also did a great job taking pictures of us fishing and holding fish. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this trip to whomever is interested in fishing Cancun and making some great memories next to great company.
