10/10 recommend this crew for your next trip! We took out our three small kids (3, 6, 8) for a 4-hr afternoon trip and they had a blast. This was our first time not doing in shore and I was super skeptical about getting sea sick. Vinnie kept an eye on the forecast and assured us the winds were in our favor and the seas would be calm. Glad we took his advice! Captain Vinnie and his first mate Jeff kept them all on fish and made sure mom and dad caught some too. We caught 10 tuna and 2 Bonita fish, never a dual moment. The boat had a cabin with AC to get them out of the heat, a fridge and cooler, and a bathroom — all wins with kids. We always appreciate a talkative crew AND people who like kids. Great day all around. Looking forward to coming back to Ft. Lauderdale and fishing again!

Did a 6-hour morning trip with Vinnie during Spring Break with my 20 yo son and a buddy of his. Very good boat and Vinnie was great at finding fish. We caught a huge Barracuda, a bunch of Mahi, a large blackfin Tuna that last five of us for two days of meals, and a bunch of Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and some others. The boat is in very good shape. Rods and tackle were great. Two fishing chairs. Plenty of room in the back and in the cabin. Full size refrigerator for our lunches. Free parking! So the only disappointment of the trip was that the mate failed to gaffe a huge bull Mahi at the side of the boat, so we missed that photo opportunity, but it still put up a good 20 minute fight. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed Vinnie and Jeff. The boat was nice sized and clean. Both guys were patient and informative. Our 15 year old son has always wanted to deep sea fish and today he got his chance. Not only did we have a blast but we caught some nice sized tuna and mahi mahi. Vinnie cleaned the fish and Jeff provided recommendations on where and how to cook them. 

These guys did a great job!  I highly recommend this charter. Our 15 year old son is beyond happy. Thanks to you both for a wonderful experience.

Captain Vinnie and Jeff were great, went fishing with my 12 year old son ( his first time ocean fishing) he had a blast . Caught plenty of Tuna and a shark (which we released) went out for 4 hours and had a weeks worth of tuna in the cooler. I would definitely recommend YB Normal if you’re into catching fish.

Booked our first ever ocean fishing trip with Capt. Vinnie on the YB Normal?. I could not have been happier. We have been wanting to do this for years and finally decided to pull the trigger. 3 generations went out and had an absolute blast! Capt. Vinnie and Capt. Hector took great care of us! They were patient with the kids, answered all our questions and made sure we had an adventure! We not only caught some good eating fish, but got to fight a few sport fish! What made the trip even better was that they seemed to be having as much fun as us! The boat was big enough for everyone and allowed us to go inside if we got too hot, or the rain picked up! We would definitely recommend them to anyone with kids, or anyone looking to have a blast with 2 down to earth gents.
