WOW! Fantastic charter!  I been on many charters, and this one with the Miss James was far and away the best.  Captain Jerry and his mate were great! The Captain texted us on the trip details and parking, explained what were could expect, explained the equipment to my youngest son and he and his mate were engaged in great conversation the entire day.  Captain Jerry found the fish and kept us up to date on the movement of the fish.  By the time we got to port, the fist were cleaned and in a bag!  The Captain and Mate even gave us an excellent recommendation on where to have lunch!  I give this my highest recommendation and we will be using this charter again!

Our half day fishing charter was on 7/26/20.  Captain Jerry & his wife Teresa were very nice.  We only caught 1 fish in the 4 hours we were out & we could not keep it because it was diseased.  It was very disappointing for my son & us.  The boat ride was nice but really wished we would of caught fish especially since this was our first charter. Expensive boat ride.  Captain Jerry went to several locations but we had no luck. The captain smoked on the boat which bothered my son & husband but neither one of them said anything to him while we were on the boat.  They both told me afterwards.

We had an amazing day with Captain Jerry and Teresa. They made it a special day for our 12 year old grandson and his best buddy. Boat is spotless, all the equipment for any situation, and they know how to find fish. We had beautiful weather and lots of fish to take home, cleaned by Teresa. We sat back and enjoyed the ride back to the marina.

We booked a full day charter and were appreciative that Captain Jerry called it due to poor weather conditions. The next day, we had our full day charter and it was clear that the captain made an excellent call. The husband and wife team have the cleanest vessel I’ve been on. They did not skimp out on the bait and had plenty of live spot for us. Within an hour we were on the fish and had caught the day’s limit of Rockfish. Their gear was well-maintained and always ready for us to use. Between live-lining and trolling we caught too many fish to count, Rockfish, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel among them. The mate was quick to respond when we hooked fish and we never had to ask for help as she was always attentive. I would not hesitate to book another charter with the Miss James crew.
